Soul Collage - Board of Directors

 Got a few SoulCollage® cards?

Maybe you’re pulling one or two daily or weekly, using the “I Am One Who…” prompt for insight.

... And yet—there’s that big, slightly daunting project hovering overhead...

What if your cards could help?

Let’s gather them together and build your own intuitive Board of Directors! The practice of “Playing with a Full Deck,” is inspired by the brilliant "Card Games" system of Michele Manos.

When you see your deck as a whole, you gain a powerful overview of your Neters’ collective energy. You’ll discover new insights, identify missing voices, and uncover fresh inspiration for future cards.

Don’t have a full SoulCollage® deck?

No problem!

Your Intentional Creativity paintings, tarot or goddess decks, or even curated collections of symbols can join the game. Any gathering of archetypal voices is welcome.

SoulCollage® Neters

You’ll leave this 90-minute session with:

  • A new way to see and use your cards
  • A method for assembling your own spiritual support team
  • A demonstration and outline you can revisit anytime
  • SoulCollage®-inspired resources to keep the magic flowing

Connect with the wisdom of The One and The Many. You are already fully resourced. Let’s prove it—together.

Bring your curiosity, your deck, journal and notebook, and a few blank index cards for placeholders.

Our Red Thread Circle on June 10 is hosted by Valerie Kravette, Intentional Creativity Teacher (2015) and a SoulCollage® facilitator since 2013.

Word of the Year

For Several years, my friend Kathleen has offered a Word of the Year Playshop at our church in January. In 2023 my  word was Weave , and in 2024, Balance (Kauliki)  Kathleen generally offers a more linear approach - using Dictionaries and Thesauri, after a quick review and release of any 'baggage' from the year just past, and then we decorated an Arrow .... This year , she invited a friend who facilitates SoulCollage (tm) to join us, and we chose images! Both Kathleen and Deandra brought a bunch of images from magazines, cards and calendars, and laid them out on several tables,  for us to gather from.  Card size is general 5×7" or 5x8" and we could choose from several colours of mat board for our background . Other materials included an index card, glue sticks and scissors.  My workstation We did a quick year review and release, then choose images, and started to fine tune and arrange them. After we'd glued the images, we paired up, and one of the dyad a...

I've got a Plan!

Last April, after the start of our  Artist in Residence time , Shiloh Sophia and her own business coach Amy Ahlers offered a creativity based business class called Dancing Entrepreneur. While most gals were from our creative community, several other creatives joined us. Posts which really caught my eye were of  Karen Dawn 's Visual Planning system , and I joined her Beta Test group on crafting similar systems of our own! I love Karen's creative approach to planning! (Her  blog  includes some of these teachings! She also introduced me to Neurographica!) Vision Plan Board My visual planner is on a foam board left over from a vision board class, and holds my Medicine Basket, one of the Dancing Entrepreneur action cards, a couple of Neuro-Noodles plus - pockets. Who doesn't love these little pockets? The clothesline is a ribbon, and I simply taped the ends to the back of the board using painter's tape! You can use nails or eye hooks to tack the lines directly on a wall -...

Soul Compass Cards

One of my favorite Intentional Creativity®practices is creating cards!   Creating a set of Soulful Story Cards was the first Red Thread event I offered, and we often create several cards in a circle. I've written about several ways to use our cards, and there are so many ways to create them!  Materials:  Watercolor or mixed media paper, thin cardboard (I use watercolor and mixed media paper from pads)  Watercolours or acrylic paint, acrylic ink, shimmer watercolors, Neocolor 2 crayons, Inktense pencils, calligraphy or micon pens, brushes Scissors, edge trimmers Items for collage, gold paint, glue or medium Set your intention for your cards Paint your background - playful, happy colors! If using watercolor paper, spray and drip color into it for a wash. If recycling thin cardboard (chocolate sleeves or tea boxes)  use white paint or gesso to prepare your surface, then paint with acrylics. While your paint dries, write out the 'old stories' that hold yo...
