Red Thread Circles are a way to connect in a respectful, mutually supportive group, and inter-weave the threads of our stories. The Red Thread has a profound capacity for connecting hearts and minds around what matters. When we face a challenge, we "tug on the Red Thread" as a reminder we aren't alone, and may tap into this web of support.
At the beginning of our time together, we sit in circle, and then pass the thread: each sister takes a minute or two framing her response to the inquiry
- What is lighting me up?
- What old story I'm ready to release?
- Today I could use _____
- What is mine to cause and create?
She then wraps a length of yarn around her wrist, and passes the rest on. During the second round, we often claim a gift or talent we'd like to deepen with, and snip the thread between us. A powerful part of passing the thread is the reminder that We are each responsible for our own piece - not the whole ball! We often see that big ball, and forget that it's not all ours to tend!
There are many traditions in different cultures involving Red Thread, including Blessing way ceremonies for moms and newborns, the red of our blood; tying a red thread around sage bundles, or a piece on basket or the back of a painting. A Red Thread SiStar hosted a young Chinese man at her B and B, and after askking about the Red Thread on her wrist, he lifted his pants leg to show her the Red Thread his mother tied around his ankle before he left home! His smile told her he felt connected and 'at home!'
One of our favorite tells is this Chinese story: we are connected by a Red Thread before birth with those whom we're destined to meet. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will not break. If we need a prayer or support, we tug on that red thread. And we are each responsible, not for the whole ball, but for simply our own piece.

We often share tea (or wine) along with conversation, and Musés are very fond of chocolate! And sparkle! They don't mind dressing up, getting a bit of paint in their hair, and love spending time together!
Virtual circles are another way to connect, when distance (or pandemics) separate us physically. The structure of the circle remains the same, we gather, pass the thread through the quantum field, focusing on an inquiry, perhaps, "what do you bring to the circle?" We then move on to a project or discussion.

Discovering our piece of the thread can be so empowering, and is a way to touch in with our Soul purpose. It's a way to reconnect with our own images, and a reminder we're not responsible for it all! We invite each other to claim our own piece.
Our Intentional Creativity® Community uses these circles as a way to connect, to give each woman a place to be heard and witnessed, to hear and witness each other. Creativity with a foundation of intention allows us to recognize old patterns and stories, and make new choices, drawing on our inner wisdom.
